Well-being Circles
Community wellness through nature walks and animal-assisted interactions.

About this Initiative
Well-being Circles is designed to promote mental wellness and social connection in institutes of higher learning through activities that:
- Release happy hormones through interactions with animals or nature
- Create opportunities for participants to meet, interact, and form friendships
- Encourage mindfulness and relaxation through immersive experiences
What We Do
Nature Walks
Guided nature walks to reconnect participants with greenery, promote mindfulness, and encourage relaxation. Studies show that spending time in nature can reduce cortisol levels and improve overall mood.
Animal-Assisted Interactions
Engaging sessions with animals such as dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs to boost oxytocin levels, which promotes happiness and reduces stress. These interactions also foster social engagement among participants.

Building Connections
By introducing individuals to one another through shared activities, we create a space where friendships and community bonds naturally form, breaking social barriers in the process.
